St Peter, Upper Arley

St Peter’s, Upper Arley; part of the church dates to the 1100s, with a Victorian extended chancel, vestry and porch. A new kitchen and toilet extension were added in 2005/6. The building is grade 2 listed and seats around 180 -200 people. It is built of local stone and has many attractive features; the church is open every day.

There is a bell tower with six bells which are rung at weddings with the help of ringers from Alveley and once a month before morning service by ringers from other churches in the Team and the surrounding area. Bell ringing practice night - Tuesday evenings at 7.3op.m.

We offer weekly services on Sunday morning at 11:00 and extend a warm welcome to all.

The recent marriage of Molly and Graham at St Peter's Upper Arley was utterly beautiful and an incredibly moving experience for all who were there and they have recently shared their thanks and a couple of photographs from their big day.
