All Saint's is a consecrated church but regular services are no longer held here. The parish services are held in St. Mary's Huish Episcopi which is about 10 minutes walk from All Saint's.
The church has many historic connections and is used for special services by schools, charity groups and major ecumenical events. The parish also uses the church on major festivals, usually including the Feast of Dedication.
The famous economist Walter Baghott is buried in the grounds. US President Woodrow Wilson visited the grave in the 1920's.
It has a rare depiction of St. Joseph of Arethemia in the great east window.
All Saint's was the parish church of the town from the late 1880's until the 1980's. It benefited greatly from the wealth of the town during the 18th and 19th centuries. However, with the loss of river transport, road routes bipassing the town the parish numbers did not warrant two churches. In earlier times it was the chapel to St. Mary's in Huish Episcopi and this situation has basically been repeated.
All Saint's is maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust, 1 West Smithfied, London EC1A 9EE.
