Weston church building and churchyard are much loved by residents and well maintained by the Churchwardens. The music is fairly traditional but the choir tackles more demanding pieces. The organist is enthusiastic and skilful. With a new hymn book, the congregation is becoming more adventurous in their hymn singing. The church is used for making recordings because of its acoustic qualities. The wooden dais on the south side of the nave has been replaced by a new oak floor. The roof beams of the chancel have been beautifully gilded. A new baptistry has been formed, creating a peaceful inner space within the building. There are occasional baptisms and weddings. Confirmations, following Alpha course successes, are now much more frequent.
