St John's is a unique Church tucked away in the small Pennine hamlet of Newsholme, and forms part of the farmhouse of Church Farm. Newsholme Church was originally a chapel of ease to Keighley Parish Church, and became part of the Parish of Oakworth in the 1970s.

The Church building is open for private prayer and visitors during daylight hours.

The Sunday congregation is made up of local people and some residents of Oakworth, and a warm welcome is extended to visitors and local people.
