You are welcome to join us for any of our
services. The church is also open for private
prayer during the day.

St Laurence's is a very old (originally Saxon)
Church and is set in an extensive and peaceful
Churchyard which adjoins fields and woods.
Inside it is quiet and simple and has a welcoming
atmosphere which contributes to the peace and
beauty of this holy place.

A modern feature is the Millennium Window over the
West door, which the Parish community generously
gave in 2000. This depicts various scenes of life
in the Village of Lurgashall, both past and
present.

NOTWITHSTANDING THE REFERENCES TO LODSWORTH AND
SELHAM AS 'OUR OTHER CHURCHES' THIS INFORMATION IS
WRONG AND OUT OF DATE! UNFORTUNATELY IT SEEMS TO
BE IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE THIS PART OF THE SITE.
LURGASHALL IS ACTUALLY LINKED TO THE PARISHES OF
NORTHCHAPEL AND EBERNOE.

Because services arrangements with Northchapel and
Ebernoe have not finally been worked out, it is
not yet possible to give times of all future
services with precision. Accordingly services are
shown until the end of July 2010 and the
information will be updated regularly.
