You are welcome to join us for any of our

prayer during the day.
St Laurence's is a very old (originally Saxon)
Church and is set in an extensive and peaceful
Churchyard which adjoins fields and woods.
Inside it is quiet and simple and has a welcoming
atmosphere which contributes to the peace and
beauty of this holy place.
A modern feature is the Millennium Window over the
West door, which the Parish community generously
gave in 2000. This depicts various scenes of life
in the Village of Lurgashall, both past and
Lurgashall shares a Priest with the neighbouring Parishes of Ebernoe and Northchapel, with which we are linked.
We are delighted to welcome The Reverend Peter Hayes, who is our new Priest-in-Charge. Peter was Licensed by the Bishop of Horsham on Thursday 8th May 2014. He will take his first combined service at Ebernoe on Sunday 11th May, and his first service at Lurgashall one week later on Sunday 18th May.
