We are a working Parish Church which has been a centre of worship since 1146. Situated exactly one mile from the centre of Wisbech, the church has been described as 'The grandest Norman parish church in Norfolk'. We seek to serve the community and each other in a loving and compassionate manner.
Visitors are always warmly welcome at any time during the week and, of course, to our Sunday Worship. We hope you will visit us and enjoy your visit. If you come and join with us at any of our Sunday Services, please do especially make yourself known and stay on for a cup of tea after the service.
Men, women and children from Walsoken and other villages have found and worshipped God in this building since its foundation in 1146. It is a place where you, too, can find faith, joy and peace. Many generations, including our own, have cared for this building that it may be an inspiration to all. Feel at home in it, - don't hurry - and try to find time to consider Jesus Christ without whom, for all its age and beauty, it is nothing. May His Spirit fill you with God's love.

Sunday
Holy Communion
The first commandment is this, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is the only Lord. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength". The second is this: "Love your neighbour as yourself". There is no other commandment greater than these". You are invited to draw near with faith to receive the body of our Lord Jesus Christ which he gave for us, and his blood which he shed for us, and feed on him in our hearts by faith with thanksgiving.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes

Our Sunday Services are meaningful and enjoyable, being designed to meet the needs of all ages whether regulars or newcomers. An informal talk (frequently with participation from the congregation) is given at the 10.30 am Family Service for Children and All. There is always an emphasis on explanatory preaching from the Scriptures and full details are always available from the Rector.
