St Frideswide's is a pilot Local Shared Ministry parish with three Associate Priests, Revd Wendy Carey,  Revd Peter Green and Revd Liz Breuilly and a team of lay workers. Our aim is to promote the Gospel of Christ by demonstrating the relevance of the Christian way of life to the whole community through worship, fellowship and service using our various gifts and abilities. Our worship centred on the Sunday morning sung Holy Communion service. We use Common Worship Order 1 and aim to strike a balance between traditional and modern in our music. We do, however, seek to reach out to people who are less familiar with traditional forms of worship through monthly Family Worship, our monthly Sunday Club for children and their parents, and special services such as our annual Christingle Service. We are a registered Fair Trade Church and also tithe our income, using the money raised to support a number of charities and the UK and abroad.
St Frideswide's shares the Water Eaton Church Centre with Spurgeon's Baptist Church. Both congregations maintain their own traditions for worship, but come together at major festivals and other special events for joint worship and fellowship. We aim to collaborate in local mission and outreach programmes and make the facilities of the Church Centre available to local community groups.
St Frideswide's also actively supports Churches Together in Bletchley and the Milton Keynes Christian Council Mission Partnersip
