St George's Church, opposite ASDA supermarket, was originally built in 1831 to serve the small hamlets of Waterloo & Stakes. The building proved too small however, and in 1970 the new Church was built to serve a growing parish. The church is open every day and we look forward to welcoming you to our Parish Church.
Children are always welcome at St George's Church. They can choose to join the Sunday School which meets in the Church Hall, or they can stay with their parents for the service. Sunday Bags of quiet toys, crayons and paper are available from the back of church.
