The church, which is Grade I listed and dates from around the 13th Century. It is built principally from local carrstone and has square tower holding 6 bells. There are toilet facilities and a kitchenette in the vestry area and ramps in the porch provide wheelchair access.

The church is open during the day throughout the year.
