The Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels

The Church of St. Michael and All Angels has had many alterations to it's structure over the years. The Nave and South Aisle were altered in 1840, and the Chancel in 1869 which has left parts of the original ceiled wagon roofs. The tower which is clearly visible at the west end of the Church was added in 1626 and the Royal arms of 1770 are displayed over it's doorway. Some15th Century glass still remains in one of the east windows. Monuments to Mary Bury, d.1651 and Lawrence Clotworthy d.1655 are located here.
