A thriving church in the beautiful village of Wendover. We have a growing Junior church which caters for children aged 2 - 13 and a recently formed Youth Group for teenagers. Whatever your age, you will receive a very warm welcome!

A communion service including music and hymns in an established style using up to date language. This may appeal to those who are familiar with formal Anglican worship.

Parish Communion at Wendover Junior School
Our weekly major service and worship, usually led by our Vicar, Revd Mark Dearnley, but with different people preaching each week. On the first Sunday, the children start off in the church and leave at the Gradual hymn. On the other Sundays, the children are at Junior Church from 10.15 and join us when Communion is taken. Everyone is welcome to join us - we have over 150 people worshipping together each week.
Each Sunday, except the last every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour

Our Junior Church is split up as follows: ages 2 - reception class; Years 1 & 2; Years 3 & 4; Years 5 & 6 and Years 7-9. When we are back in St Mary's (Apr 2011) on the first Sunday of the month, they join everyone in church and then go off to their various sessions during the Gradual hymn. On the other Sundays, they meet at 10.15 for about 1 hour and then come into church during Communion and go up to the altar for a blessing. There is also a Children's Service which is usually on the fourth Sunday of the month, six times a year, when they stay in church all the time and are involved in the service.
