Get married in Wentbridge Church. St John's Church, Wentbridge is just behind the Wentbridge House Hotel, and is ideal for your church wedding in yorkshire. Wentbridge House is just a minute away and the Wentbridge House Hotel is a romantic venue for your wedding reception. You don't have to live here to get married here, all you have to do is come to church once a month.
Wentbridge Church is a delightful late Victorian listed building overlooking the River Went, but it looks much older and there was a church in wentbridge from 1030 to 1530AD. Wentbridge church seats 80 comfortably, and can accommodate 100, and is an idyllic setting for your wedding wedding blessing or other special celebration day.
St John's Church, Wentbridge is a Church of England church and is set in a small country village with excellent road links via the A1/A1M and M62.

Couples travel from London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Sheffield, and Leeds as well as more locally to get married here.
The nearest reception venue is the Wentbridge House Hotel, on the same country lane. We would love to welcome you to our Church for your wedding day, or other special occasion. On Sundays we have a lovely morning service with hymns. Wedding couples often join us, most commonly on the 1st Sunday of each month. NB this is Every week except on the 5th Sunday of the month, when we meet at one of the 4 benefice churches at 10am. Check the webpage for details.
