'Watch and Pray' is the distinctive message in the clock face of the Church of All Saints - West Acre. The tower dates from 14th century. Alongside the church is the gate house of the former Abbey of West Acre. Although only a few fragments remain - especially of the tower and chapter house, the Abbey itself was more influential than that of neighbouring Castle Acre.
