Part of the  parish of St Bartholomew Westhoughton,  St Thomas Church is situated inside St Thomas C of E School. The separate sanctuary area combines with the school hall, to create a place for worship on Sunday

Our facilities are used for a variety of church and community activities and uniformed organisations (Scouting & Guiding Associations) are an integral part of church life.

We have a Sunday school for ages 3 to 11 years which meets at the same time as  our 9.15am Sunday service.  Baptisms take place, by arrangement, in the 9.15am service.  Unnfortunately, we are  not able to conduct weddings or funerals at St Thomas's

School and church work very  closely together.
