Westlea Church is a small fellowship of 29 members that meets every Sunday morning in the hall at Westlea Primary School. There is regular attendance of about 30 adults and 15 children.

We are composed largely of families with children; a few people of retirement age; several whose spouse or family do not attend; and a very few singles and younger couples.

We worship in a free church style, but using liturgical input from all of the traditions. We use the NIV Bible for readings, our collection of OHP slides for songs and hymns, but we do have ‘Songs and Hymns of Fellowship’ for reference and backup. Whilst members come from all denominations, we also have a significant numbers of new Christians. We have active ‘Sunday Club’ groups for ages from toddlers to teenage, though we struggle to find enough people to run them all every week. Once a month we have a children’s fun session based loosely on ‘Rock Solid’ material. We host a weekly ‘First Steps’ group for toddlers and carers
