St Mary's is the parish church for the historic market town of West Malling. In 2011, we welcomed our new Priest-in-Charge Rev David Green, and together we are looking forward to a new chapter in our church life.
Our style of worship is mostly based on Holy Communion and a liturgical style. We have a Choir and Organist for music. We enjoy Bible-based teaching and are glad to welcome people of all ages, including children.
If you've not been along before, why not come and give us a try?
Our church building is a great place in which to worship. The tower and the western part of the chancel remain from the original Norman church of the 11th Century. In 1200 the nave and chancel were rebuilt in the early English style. Lightning struck the spire in 1712 which led to a remodelling of the interior, but in 1901 that Georgian nave was pulled down and the new nave was built.
