The Building Bridges Quartet
Giuliano Modarelli (guitar), Olivia Moore (violin), Jon Thorne (double bass), Adam Warne. £8/£6 concessions. Tickets available on the door; reserve in advance through Facebook or by emailing: artworksnw@gmail.com
A fusion of Jazz, Arabic rhythms and Indian classical music, exploring a number of world folk and classical traditions. Influences include Italian folk music (native to guitarist Giuliano Modarelli), and Indian and Western classical music (Olivia Moore is trained in both traditions, and has established her credentials on the UK jazz scene). Passionate, energetic and highly-skilled double bassist Jon Thorne (of trip hop/drum-and-bass band Lamb) plays across a broad range of the musical spectrum, and these all combine with Adam Warne’s expertise in Egyptian music (he plays numerous percussion instruments, principally – and for which he has an enduring obsession – the Egyptian riq).

Sunday Worship
St. Margaret's takes as its role model the value of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels: compassion, encouragement, forgiveness. Contemporary role models are also a source of guidance. We are both a place and a people raising awareness, leading to personal empowerment, or in traditional language, spiritual well being.
