St Columba's is a friendly and welcoming church of about 150 members. At our main Eucharist on a Sunday there are usually about 100 worshippers. We have an active Sunday School, and at our main service you will find well-known hymns and a short sermon. St Columba's stands in the moderate catholic tradition of the Church of England.
There are also various activities during the week.

Regular Services

Sunday

Holy Communion
A said service, using traditional language, with a short sermon
Every Sunday every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes

Worship for All
A Eucharist for all the family with lively music, a short talk, and refreshments after the service.
Every first Sunday at 9:15 AM for 50 minutes

Sung Eucharist
Our main service with wel-known hymns, a short sermon, creche facilities and Sunday School. The service is followed by refreshments.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour

Evening Prayer
A traditional service using the Book of Common Prayer, with hymns and a short sermon / devotional reading
Every Sunday at 6:30 PM for 40 minutes

Tuesday

Open Door Drop-in
Short service in church, followed by home-made soup and bread and various activities (e.g. bingo, sing-along)
Every first Tuesday at 12:00 PM

Messy Church
Messy art and craft for primary-school age children and their parents / carers, followed by short, fun service in church. Refreshments provided.
Every third Tuesday at 3:00 PM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
