St Anne's Church, Worksop

We are a welcoming, all-age Anglican church seeking to worship God and introduce people to Jesus by sharing God's love and peace in our community.

We are committed to worship for all ages with our dedicated StA@10 all age service each Sunday, alongside our midweek family service StA Connect held in our local school, alongside our more traditional services StA@9 at 9.00am each Sunday and our contemporary evening worship StA@6. We have a strong focus on providing the best services for weddings, baptisms and funerals as well as a team of people who visit the sick and elderly in our community. Our midweek services and groups include Wednesday Welcome, a place of welcome at 2.00pm every week, a youth choir at 6.00pm and youth group at 7.00pm on a Thursday and youth drop-in on a Friday from 3.00pm.

The links with the local Church of England school next door are very important to us and we work hard together to encourage children in the school to grow in their faith. Our main morning service where we all join together to worship God with the whole church family. We meet together on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday's which include Holy Communion and a Sundayz Cool for Primary age children, Reception to Y6, and a creche for the under 5's. On the 3rd Sunday we will have an All Together service led by the Sundayz Cool crew. All services include a mixture of liturgy, contemporary and traditional music with both the worship band and organ, quizzes and questions to introduce the theme for the morning and engaging talks and prayer. Exploring together stories and themes from the bible with plenty of interaction for all ages, as well as more traditional liturgy when we celebrate Holy Communion. All services will be followed by refreshments and time to share in fellowship together.
