A fine carved Norman doorway, stained
blue, leads into a fine and beautiful church
with some striking stained glass, 18th
century wall monuments and modern altar
hangings. A striking modern glass screen
divides the main congregational seating
from the draughty main door, but can be
opened out for baptisms, weddings and
large services. Use of the church
is shared between the Anglican and URC
congregations, and we maintain friendly
relations and some shared services.
The Friends of Wroxham Church was set up
recently to helpraise funds for reroofing the
North Aisle and other repairs.
In addition to services every Sunday, we
have midweek Communion on Wednesdays
at 10.30, services to the Old Peoples homes
and a free Parish Magazine for every
household. We support a number of
Charities and Mission agencies from church
funds.
