Welcome to our Benefice! We are a group of four churches, serving the villages and hamlets of the Wychwood Benefice in the West Oxfordshire Cotswolds. 

The Wychwood Benefice includes the following churches: St Mary the Virgin Shipton under Wychwood, St Nicholas Idbury, St John the Baptist Fifield and St Simon & St Jude Milton under Wychwood.

Service of Prayer and Reflection to Commemorate All Souls - in Shipton Church

On Sunday 25th October at 6pm we will be holding a Service of Prayer and Reflection in St Mary the Virgin, Shipton under Wychwood, to commemorate All Souls.
We will be reading out the names of those who have died recently. There will be an opportunity for you to add the names of other loved ones you would like to be remembered when you arrive in church.
During the service, there will also be an opportunity to light a candle in their memory.
