Welcome to St. Mary's church in the parish of Wyke - an urban village on the southern boundary of the City of Bradford.

Come and join the church family as we look to God in Christ to help us grow in numbers, in spiritual commitment to Jesus and in service to the local community.

  • We gather to worship together as a church family.
  • We meet in small groups during the week to go deeper into the Sunday message and apply it to our lives.
  • We serve the local community - including active participation in the local Foodbank run by Wyke Christian Council of Churches.

We've been using the 'Jesus Shaped People Adventure' (JSP) to help us focus on the things which matter to Jesus, asking ourselves: 'what would happen to our church if we based everything we do on his life?' [to learn more about JSP go to: www.jesusshapedpeople.net].

Following the 10 week series, 'Spirit-Filled Church', we're looking ahead to a refreshing Quiet Day at the end of October to help us listen to what the LORD is saying to his church.

At the end of November, a special worship service called 'Kingdom of Priests' will draw us close to the glory and wonder of the LORD God: '...for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God' (2 Chronicles 5:14b)

Come and see - come and join in...'Church Family Service' every Sunday at 10am (with Communion on 2nd & 4th Sundays) - all ages worship together - during the 20 minute adult sermon, children and young people will have special groups meeting in church.
