We’re a friendly and welcoming parish church, where people of
all ages and backgrounds can make themselves at home,
worship and and grow in knowledge of God’s love. We are
exploring sharing Christ’s message in different ways relevant to
today’s world.
We offer a range of services in both contemporary and
traditional worship styles. Refreshments are always served after
services and newcomers made welcome. We also have a variety
of midweek and occasional activities for all age groups, both
spiritual and social – from Noah’s Ark for toddlers and their
carers, to Time Out for the elderly, to Elevate – a multi-media
event run by young people for young people.
You can’t miss St Oswald’s – in the heart of Fulford village –
prominently sited on the main A19 route into south York –
handy for the University of York, just down the road from
Imphal Barracks. Students and local temporary residents often
settle in for the duration of their time in York, and are loved and
valued members of the church.
