About the Community

St Mary’s is a very busy community. Apart from serving as the ancient Civic Church, it attracts a large congregation at the 10.30am Family Eucharist. We have many young families, professional youth work, and a great spread of talent in the congregation. In terms of churchmanship, the mix is very varied. We try to provide a home for as many as possible. We aim to move forward, especially in terms of outreach to younger generation, yet without losing touch with the strengths of the Anglican Liturgical Tradition.
