DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 22 June\, our friend and bat expert Jane Harris fr
 om East Carleton is running another bat evening for us\, meeting in church
  at 8pm. Jane will talk\, show slides and videos of bats and their conserv
 ation for about an hour. We'll have a refreshment break and then go out on
  foot into the neighbouring woods and countryside to see what's about. Wel
 l\, more to hear than to see:  Jane brings a number of bat detectors that 
 make the supersonic echo-locating calls of bats audible to us humans. Last
  time\, she also had a sophisticated analyser that told her what sorts of 
 bats were sounding off. This is a fund-raiser for the tower and bell fund
