 tudy. His talks make for a fascinating listen.\n\nHe is a leading authorit
 y on East Anglian dialect\, and famously coached Ralph Fiennes and the cas
 t of the Netflix film\, ‘The Dig’ in the Suffolk dialect.  In 2023\, h
 e was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Suffolk.\n\nIf yo
