DESCRIPTION:This child-friendly service is to support the Salvation Army C
 hristmas Present appeal. We're delighted that the two schools in the Thurt
 on Benefice will be supporting us with prayers and poems (or maybe somethi
 ng else) prepared by the children.\nCould you help us make Christmas speci
 al for those families who may have little or nothing under the tree for th
 eir children on Christmas morning?\nIf you’d like to donate to this Salv
 ation Army Project and make a child’s Christmas special this year\, Read
  On!\n\nThe Salvation Army asks for gifts of NEW\, UNWRAPPED toys\, books\
 , games or gift tokens (for children aged 0-16 years). Unwrapped because t
 hey prepare gift packs for identified families. Monetary donations can be 
 made too\, and any gift aid on donations will be passed to the Salvation A
 rmy too.\nDonations can be brought to the church service on the morning or
  taken\, during the week beforehand\, to either Alpington or Thurton Schoo
 l.\nAfterwards\, the Bergh Apton team will arrange for them to be taken to
  the Salvation Army Norwich depot where the gifts will be wrapped before d
 istribution to those in need.\n\nHere are a few gift ideas:\n•	0-3 years
 :  dolls\, teddy bears\, cot mobiles\, baby clothes\, bath toys\, puzzles\
 n•	3-5: dolls and action figures\, cars\, lorries\, colouring sets\, pen
 cils\, crayons\, books\, puzzles\n•	5-9: educational games & toys\, stat
 ionery (colouring sets\, pencils\, crayons\, school sets)\, books\, puzzle
 s\, wordsearch\, crosswords\n•	9-12: games and toys\, stationery\, books
 \, t-shirts\, hair accessories\, gloves\, scarves\, hats\n•	13-16: books
 \, make-up and toiletries (please try to ensure non-allergic ingredients i
 f possible)\, gloves\, scarves\, hats\, t-shirts\, hair accessories and gi
 ft vouchers.\n\nNearly-new toys in good condition can also be donated for 
 sale in Salvation Army shops to raise funds for their valuable work
