 \, we invite you and your family to a very special Compline service at Mat
 laske Church at 6pm. Compline is traditionally a quiet\, night-time prayer
  service to end the day\, but this will be a little different—and we wou
 ld love children to be part of it.\n\nTogether\, we will transform our chu
 rch space to help tell the story of Holy Week in a powerful and visual way
 . We will turn the altar around and\, working as a family group\, we will 
 create a tomb\, just as Jesus' followers would have done on that first eve
 ning. It’s a hands-on\, gentle activity that helps children (and grown-u
 ps) connect with the story in a meaningful way\, before we settle into a s
 hort\, quiet time of prayer and reflection by candlelight.\n\nThis service
  is designed to be simple\, atmospheric\, and suitable for all ages—a pe
 aceful and memorable way for families to experience the solemnity of Holy 
 Week together. No need to worry about sitting still for too long\; the foc
 us is on doing\, wondering\, and being together in the quiet. Everyone is 
 welcome to come and share this special moment as we prepare our hearts for
  Easter.
