“2020 Vision” Fundraising Photography Competition

"Daddy, what did you do in “Lockdown”?"

Here’s your chance to display your 2020 Lockdown photos and try for one of our competition prizes. At the same time you’ll be helping to fund the Alberbury Church Porch extension; levelling the access and installing toilets.

FIRST PRIZE - £50

SECOND PRIZE – £25

THIRD PRIZE - £10

Your photographs should illustrate what Lockdown meant for you – something you did or saw or experienced – anything that means “Lockdown” to you!

RULES:

Photos must have been taken during Lockdown.

The competition is for amateurs not for professional photographers.

Photos can be either black and white or colour prints (approx 6”x4”)and mounted on an A4 sheet of card, with the title only written on the front. Enclose with your entry a sealed envelope containing your name and contact details. Plus of course your entry fee!

Entries are non-returnable

Cost of entry: £5 per photo.

The judges will include a local amateur photographer of repute and the entries will be assessed on their photographic quality, composition, subject treatment and interpretation.

Closing date: 12th September 2020.

Results will be announced at the end of September and, situation allowing, all entries will be displayed when the new porch at St Michael’s and All Angels, Alberbury is opened in the autumn.
