Church of England Diocese of Hereford Chirbury

St Michael's is open again for worship

4 Jul 2020, midnight

St Michael's Church will re-open for public worship on Sunday 5th July at 11 am, for a short service of the word with a reflection on the readings, and appropriate recorded music. We will use the Lady Chapel and south aisle, and will keep to distancing and other guidelines. There'll be no singing as yet, and we will not be holding services of Holy Communion until August at the earliest (watch this space).  There will be another service on Sunday 19th at 11 am. At present we anticipate holding services at 11 am on Sundays 12th and 26th July at one of the other English churches in our group. At present our three Welsh churches remain closed for public worship.

St Michael's will also be open on Wednesdays for Morning Prayer (10 am), remaining open for private prayer until 1 pm. Again, the Lady Chapel and south aisle will be available.
