Grand Autumn Craft Fair (virus permitting)
31 Oct 2020, 10 a.m. for 4h
Hand Causeway Clun Craven Arms
(obviously virus permitting)
Our craft fair last year had to be cancelled because it clashed with larger fairs being held locally and we agreed we would try to hold one a little earlier this year. End of October seems to be a good time and give some of us something to work on and look forward to throughout the summer months. As usual, the stalls will be boards across the pews for you to dress yourselves. The board (2 per stall) are roughly 2ft x 3ft and this year we will charge £20 per stall. We now have toilet and kitchen facilities in St George's and the church congregation will provide refreshments for sale and free hot drinks for stall holders. If you would like to book a stall, please get in touch. At this stage I would like to assess the interest but obviously I am unable to say that it will definitely go ahead. I would hope we would know more by the end of September and no fees will be taken before then. In the past we have filled the church with stalls. This year we may have to limit the numbers if we are still in social distancing regulations so we will decided nearer the time how many we can accommodate and if we have too many who ask for stalls we will restrict but will try to keep a balance of goods for sale. We would hope that with few social events going on, the public will welcome coming out to this sort of event. So, please get in touch if you are interested and happy crafting in lockdown!!!!
