 t\nJoin us as we celebrate 150 years of the Mothers' Union\, giving thanks
  for a century and a half of faithful prayer\, service and support for fam
 ilies and communities across the world.\nThis is a particularly special oc
 casion for St James the Great\, Colwall\, as Mary Sumner\, the founder of 
 the Mothers' Union\, was married here. We are delighted to mark this impor
 tant anniversary in the very church that forms part of her own story.\nThe
  celebration service will be led by our Rector\, Revd Preb. Melanie Horton
 \, together with Revd Penny Littlewood\, Chaplain to the Mothers' Union.\n
 Sunday 9 August\n2.30pm\nSt James the Great\, Colwall\nEveryone is warmly 
 welcome\, whether you are a member of the Mothers' Union\, have supported 
 its work over the years\, or would simply like to discover more about its 
 remarkable history and continuing ministry.\nThe service will be followed 
 by a traditional afternoon tea\, offering an opportunity to celebrate toge
 ther and enjoy fellowship.
