We played host to benefice communion service on 16th August at 10.00am with 20 people in the congregation. We continued our series of "Stories from Lockdown", with Mary Rayner preaching about Joseph (he of the coat of many colours and interpreter of dreams about baking) when lock-downed in prison. Her theme was how Joseph discovered a new gift from God whilst in his lock-down; the ability to interpret dreams. Mary showed a freshly baked loaf of bread; a gift she and her husband had developed during lockdown. Our rector, the Rev Mike Harris led communion.
