We received this message from Mike Beazley of CTAL:
"The Town Council met on 24th February to discuss the response to the recent floods. I informed them about the availability of a fund held by Ludlow Relief in Need (a local grant-making charity), which we are hoping to transfer to Hands Together or another local charity, to provide flood relief payments and other assistance to people affected by the floods (30 houses and several businesses).
"Assuming we use up all the existing fund to support the most recent victims, we will need to refill the fund in preparation for the next event. Therefore, with the Town Council's approval, I have started a CTAL fund-raiser, on behalf of Ludlow Relief in Need, who will receive the money and hold it until it is needed. I have a fund-raiser going on Facebook (my personal account and on the CTAL and Ludlow Residents Association pages) which I'd be grateful if you could share on your Facebook pages."
