  be held at Nash Village Hall (SY8 3AL) at 11.30 am on Sunday October 11th
 \, followed (after a short break) by Harvest Ploughman's Lunch + Dessert\,

DESCRIPTION:If you would like to see the rebuilding work in progress for o
 ur National Lottery Heritage Fund project at St John the Baptist Church\, 
 we are offering 2 Hard Hat Visits at 9.30 and 11 am on Saturday October 24
 th.  This is the best time to see the 16th century spire while the externa
 l cladding is off before the winter weather sets in.  \nParticipants must 
 be 18 or over - and numbers are restricted\, with places available on a fi
 rst come\, first served basis.  To go aloft on the tower scaffolding you n
 eed a head for heights\; to be wearing jeans or trousers and sturdy\, sens
 ible shoes\; and to be fit enough to climb 7 or 8 flights of stairs.  \nOu
 r main contractor\, Dan Paddock\, will provide hard hats and hi-viz tabard
 s.  Dan will be on hand answer technical questions about the building and 
 carpentry work\, and the Churchwarden\, Bobbie\, will handle questions abo
 ut the Heritage Fund project and the church history.   \nFull details are

 ng has been handed over to our main contractor\, Dan Paddock Building Solu
 tions Ltd. until the work is finished in February 2027.\nOur Sunday servic
 es are moving to Nash Village Hall (SY8 3AL) for the next 5 months\, which
  will be an opportunity to try something different.  The schedule includes
  two informal services to explore the basics of Christianity. This will be
  ideal for those with little or no church experience and regulars alike. E
