DESCRIPTION:We are enormously grateful to Mrs Meg Lawrence for the gift to
  St Andrew’s of the house organ which belonged to her late husband\, Dr 
 David Lawrence\, and to its builder\, Derrick Carrington\, who has reassem
 bled and installed it in our south aisle over the past few months. The org
 an is now up and running and has been played at some recent services\, and
  are delighted with it.\n\nDo join us on Friday 8 August at 6 pm for a cel
 ebration and demonstration of the instrument by our team of five organists
  – St Andrew’s is unusually blessed in having so many skilled players 
 who take turns to accompany our services each week. The musical programme 
 will last an hour\, including chorales sung by St Andrew’s Choir\, and w
 ill be followed by wine and nibbles. There is no charge and everyone is we
 lcome to attend.
