DESCRIPTION:We meet on the second Monday of each month at 11am. We are usi
 ng a  pattern of prayer used by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (ht
 tp://www.contemplative-prayer.org.uk/). Each session begins with relaxatio
 n\, followed by an introduction to the saying for the day which is a short
  sentence of scripture. This saying is repeated as a mantra in three secti
 ons of about 7-8 minutes: first thinking about the saying\, second allowin
 g the saying to ‘speak’ to the heart and the third in which we use the
  saying to pray for others. The session ends with a final prayer. There is
  no pressure to share anything or to pray aloud.  We finish at 11.45. Ever
 yone welcome.

 ng a  pattern of prayer used by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (ht
 tp://www.contemplative-prayer.org.uk/). Each session begins with relaxatio
 n\, followed by an introduction to the saying for the day which is a short
  sentence of scripture. This saying is repeated as a mantra in three secti
 ons of about 7-8 minutes: first thinking about the saying\, second allowin

  saying to pray for others. The session ends with a final prayer. There is
  no pressure to share anything or to pray aloud.  We finish at 11.45. Ever

 ng a  pattern of prayer used by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (ht
 tp://www.contemplative-prayer.org.uk/). Each session begins with relaxatio
 n\, followed by an introduction to the saying for the day which is a short
  sentence of scripture. This saying is repeated as a mantra in three secti
 ons of about 7-8 minutes: first thinking about the saying\, second allowin
 g the saying to ‘speak’ to the heart and the third in which we use the
  saying to pray for others. The session ends with a final prayer. There is
  no pressure to share anything or to pray aloud.  We finish at 11.45. Ever

 ng a  pattern of prayer used by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (ht
 tp://www.contemplative-prayer.org.uk/). Each session begins with relaxatio
 n\, followed by an introduction to the saying for the day which is a short
  sentence of scripture. This saying is repeated as a mantra in three secti
 ons of about 7-8 minutes: first thinking about the saying\, second allowin
 g the saying to ‘speak’ to the heart and the third in which we use the
  saying to pray for others. The session ends with a final prayer. There is
  no pressure to share anything or to pray aloud.  We finish at 11.45. Ever
 yone welcome.

 hurch members to bring friends who would like to know more about our faith

 ings\, with 6 sessions starting on 1st November and then 5 further session
 s from 10th January.  The sessions in January will include a Saturday away
  day at Bagley Baptist church.  Each session will start with a meal\, foll
 owed by a film on the subject for the evening and then opportunity for dis

DESCRIPTION:We meet on the second Monday of each month at 11am. We are usi
 ng a  pattern of prayer used by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (ht
 tp://www.contemplative-prayer.org.uk/). Each session begins with relaxatio
 n\, followed by an introduction to the saying for the day which is a short
  sentence of scripture. This saying is repeated as a mantra in three secti
 ons of about 7-8 minutes: first thinking about the saying\, second allowin
 g the saying to ‘speak’ to the heart and the third in which we use the
  saying to pray for others. The session ends with a final prayer. There is
  no pressure to share anything or to pray aloud.  We finish at 11.45. Ever
 yone welcome.

 happening in the Benefice in the Autumn and New Year. We will holding an A
 lpha Course in Cheddar Village Hall.  An Alpha Course\, which you may have
  already heard of\, is an opportunity to explore the basics of our Christi
 an faith.  It is a tried and tested course having been held in many places
  in this country and around the world.\n\nThis is an opportunity for our c
 hurch members to bring friends who would like to know more about our faith
  and indeed anyone who is interested.  \nWe will be meeting on Sunday even
 ings\, with 6 sessions starting on 1st November and then 5 further session
 s from 10th January.  The sessions in January will include a Saturday away
  day at Bagley Baptist church.  Each session will start with a meal\, foll
 owed by a film on the subject for the evening and then opportunity for dis
 cussion.\n\nThere will be further details in September but in the meantime
  please note the dates\, consider joining the course and bringing a friend
 .  Above all we need to be praying for all aspects of this venture.\n\nStu

 ng a  pattern of prayer used by the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer (ht
 tp://www.contemplative-prayer.org.uk/). Each session begins with relaxatio
 n\, followed by an introduction to the saying for the day which is a short
  sentence of scripture. This saying is repeated as a mantra in three secti
 ons of about 7-8 minutes: first thinking about the saying\, second allowin
 g the saying to ‘speak’ to the heart and the third in which we use the
  saying to pray for others. The session ends with a final prayer. There is
  no pressure to share anything or to pray aloud.  We finish at 11.45. Ever
 yone welcome.
