DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy an evening that will test your brain and stretc
h your waistband!\n\nOur much-loved Fish & Chip Quiz Night returns to Rodn
ey Stoke\, bringing together friends\, neighbours and newcomers for an eve
ning of fun and fundraising. As usual\, there will be two rounds of topica
l quiz questions\, with a well-earned break in the middle for freshly deli
 vered\, piping hot fish & chips from Tuckers in Cheddar.\n\nPrizes are\, o
f course\, on offer – a tub of chocolates for the winners\, and the trad
itional wooden spoons for those who come last. And no village event would
be complete without the ubiquitous raffle!\n\nPlease remember that every p
enny raised goes towards improving our church hall and completing urgent r
epairs on our 12th-century church. Our church is an 800-year-old treasure
at the heart of the village. Keeping it open and in good condition is a co
nstant task\, whether that means conserving the ancient stonework\, repair
ing the roof balustrades\, or caring for the bells that ring out across Ro
dney Stoke. The village hall too\, as the hub of local life\, needs steady
care and investment to support the many activities it hosts throughout th
e year.\n\nBy joining us\, you’ll not only enjoy a good evening in great
company\, but also help to preserve two much-loved village institutions f
or the future.\n\nThis event always sells out quickly – so please book y
our table early to avoid disappointment!
