DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday - The Watch \nMaundy Thursday is the day when 
 Christians remember the Last Supper when Jesus \ncelebrated the Passover m
 eal with his disciples in the Upper Room before being \nbetrayed and arres
 ted in the garden of Gethsemane. Traditionally a silent watch is \nkept af
 ter the Maundy Thursday evening service recalling Jesus’ words to his \n
 disciples in the garden\, “Could you not watch with me for one hour?”.
   We will be \nkeeping an hour long silent watch at St Peter’s after the
  Maundy Thursday service \nthis year. All are welcome to join in the watch
  if they wish but please don’t feel \nobliged to stay for the whole sixt
 y minutes. It is fine to just dip your toe into the \nwaters of silence an
 d soak in the peace for a few minutes to think of our Lord before \nquietl
 y leaving the church.
