Good News! Our Churches are Opening for Easter!
The Rector, Revd Nick Clarke, the Church Wardens and PCCs of the Ham Hill Villages Benefice are very happy to announce that our 7 Churches are reopening for Worship and Private Prayer from Maundy Thursday 1st April 2021.
Having very carefully reviewed Government, Church of England and Bishop Ruth's guidance, supported by the local scientific evidence we believe it is now safe and responsible to reopen our churches for public worship and private prayer starting on Maundy Thursday Thursday 1st April. We give thanks that this has been made possible by the vast majority of people following the rules and for wonderful work of all our NHS staff, carers, key workers and all those involved in the success of the vacination program. However, we will be taking a very cautious approach by strictly following our Covid Safe Risk Assessments to ensure we are following social distancing and track and trace rules and will keep this decision under review. This means that numbers at services have to be limited and booking will be required for Easter services.
Join Us in Worship and Prayer Online!
Our buildings may be closed but our Church Family is alive & well! We are continuing to worship at home with our Recorded Services online, and with Prayer, Bible Reading and Reflection sheets.
