DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special evensong as we celebrate Candlemas! This
  will be traditional style service with a focus on music and singing.\n\nO
 ne of the main parts of the service is the Psalm for the day\, which is ei
 ther said aloud or sung. This is followed by readings from the Bible\, inc
 luding the joyous words of the Virgin Mary when she learned she would give
  birth to Jesus\, and the heartfelt words of Simeon\, when he recognises t
 he Messiah when he meets Jesus. The service ends with prayers: the Lord's 
 Prayer\, the prayer for the day\, a prayer for peace and a prayer for help
  against troubles. There are four hymns which are sung during the service\
 , and a a short talk too.
