 to climb the church tower to see the amazing views of Wells and the surrou
 nding countryside.\nNot only do visitors have the fun of climbing up the 1
 66 steps of the spiral staircase and gazing over the parapet at the top\, 
 they will also meet bell-ringers\, find out about bell-ringing and have a 
 go themselves.\nAnd\, of course\, there are memories of Hot Fuzz and that 
 nasty incident …..!\nThe tower is open on every Sunday afternoon in Augu
 st with tours running on the hour from 2.00 until 4.00. \nNumbers are limi
 ted so it is advisable to book beforehand through MORE INFO\nRegrettably\,
  children under the age of eight are not allowed to climb up. \nThe first 
 tours are on Sunday 2nd August.\nCream Teas (£5.00) are also available on
  those Sundays: to help recovery after climbing up(!)\; for those who don
 ’t fancy climbing up\; and for anyone who would just like a cream tea in
  a beautiful setting on a summer afternoon!
