Grace Church meeting at Emmanuel, Apsley Road at the new time of 10.30am over the summer

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 2 hours
Venue
Emmanuel Church
Address
Apsley Road Bath, Newbridge Bath, BA1 3LP, United Kingdom

We will not be meeting at 4pm for six consecutive Sundays over the summer period, starting on the 25th July to 29th August inclusive. Instead, we are meeting with our friends at Emmanuel Church Apsley Road for a joint service at 10.30 am. We are the youngest Church family in the Bath Deanery with a service on a Sunday afternoon, enabling those who find Sunday mornings a barrier due to sport, shift work etc, to join in fellowship and hear the good news of Jesus! We are made up of people of all ages seeking to live in God’s world in God’s way.
St John’s Lower Weston has kindly given Grace church a home and we normally meet at 3.30pm for tea and coffee with our service taking place at 4.00pm until 5.15pm. Children’s tea and more refreshments take place after our time together to spend time in fellowship with one another. However, in these Covid times we are not having the time of fellowship and refreshment before and after the service and the service kicks off at 4pm.

Emmanuel Church

We at Emmanuel offer a warm welcome to all in our community, young and old. We are very much a church for the community with a vision to spread the good news about Jesus and share the message of God’s love both inside and outside the four walls of the building.

We are a small, friendly and informal church and we look out for one another, offering support and encouragement, both physical and spiritual.  We warmly welcome all newcomers.

We want to share Jesus' message of forgiveness and salvation, to meet people where they are and to see God transform lives as we discover together the joy of a close and personal relationship with God and His amazing promise of eternal life.

We are happy to be meeting back in the building again. We will be taking care to adhere to all the government legislation and guidelines to ensure we are doing this in a Covid-compliant way. Please come along and join us.

Safeguarding

The parish of Bath, Weston St John is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
