DESCRIPTION:Come to the Batheaston Fete in June and you will see the brigh
 tly coloured ribbons of the maypole\, blankets spread on the grass with fa
 milies enjoying freshly cooked burgers\, children eating ice creams\, a cr
 owd chatting over a beer or glass of prosecco and people moving from stall
  to stall clutching coconuts\, jars of sweets or a homemade cake.\n\nThe c
 ommunity comes together as church\, school\, Brownies\, Scouts and other v
 illage groups gather to celebrate. Eagerly anticipated by all\, this tradi
 tional fete promises fun for the whole family\, including a barbeque and b
 ar to refresh hungry fete-goers. ​\n\nThe fete will be held in the Bathe
 aston New Village Hall and the adjacent Church field.  The field will be f
 illed as usual with many different kinds of stalls and games\, including s
 kittles\, children’s games\, plants\, books\, tombola\, delicious homema
