DESCRIPTION:A Service of worship to celebrate Palm Sunday when Jesus arriv
 ed in Jerusalem to crowds and cheers. His triumphant entry into Jerusalem 
 has been celebrated on the Sunday before Easter since the first centuries 
 of Christianity.\n\nThe crowds waved palm branches and covered his path wi
 th them. We remember this with crosses made from palm leaves\, blessed and
  given to each member of the congregation to take with them. Traditionally
 \, these are burned on Ash Wednesday of the following year.\n\nA Service o
 f Holy Communion takes place at our sister church in Westonzoyland on this
  day at 10.30 am
