All Saints’ Church, Norton Fitzwarren
COVID 19 UPDATE
CHURCH SERVICES TO RESUME ON 28TH MARCH 2021
During this current lockdown Public Worship is permitted if considered safe by individual parish churches.
However services during were January have been cancelled and the church has remained closed due to the high Covid 19 caseload in in this locality.
However due to the acceleration of the Covid vaccine programme and the continue decline in new Covid cases in our are we have decided that it is much safer now to open up church for public services. The first service will be on Sunday 28th March at 10.30am and will be a Palm Sunday Communion service. The usual booking procedures will be in place as will 2 metre social distancing within the church. Face coverings must be worn and we ask you to sanitise your hands both on entry to the church and also prior to taking the communion wafer, using the hand sanitiser on your pew.
We do still hold a dispensation from the Bishop of Taunton to suspend worship at our church should this be required before the end of September 2021.
