Thank you so much to everyone in the Staplegrove community for your continued contributions to the Foodbank. As always your contributions and support are very much appreciated. Since January this year 174.1 kgs have been donated.

The Foodbank box is now back in the Staplegrove store, after its refurbishment, and is on the left of the entrance near the Lottery Fund unit. As the church is sadly not yet fully open we haven’t put one back there as yet. Many grateful thanks to Moira and Jim Read for keeping the system going whilst the over 70’s could not volunteer owing to the Pandemic restrictions. Now we are able to help again please contact us with any queries (see end for contact details).

With Christmas coming you might like to take part in the Reverse Advent Calendar project … for each day in December until the 25th you put an item of food in a box or a cash donation and take it to the Foodbank. The Foodbank Facebook page has a list of foodstuffs that would be welcome.

Again many thanks for all your help and support; donations, prayers and your support are invaluable and ensures that the work of the Foodbank continues to succeed. If you would like any more information please do not hesitate contact us.

We hope you all have a very Happy Christmas

Margaret and Derek Senior
