DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us\, together with the wider Wellington 
 community\, as we celebrate St John’s Patronal Festival weekend.\n\nOn S
 aturday\, 27th June at 1.30 p.m.\, we are bringing back the historic Clipp
 ing the Tower tradition. After more than 150 years\, it’s a wonderful ch
 ance for us to gather\, reconnect\, and celebrate the place that brings so
  many of us together week by week. The heart of the event is simple: we jo
 in hands\, circle the Church with a human chain\, Clip the Tower\, and ret
 urn through the human arch\, sharing a moment of unity and community spiri
 t. The celebration continues with a performance by Bootstrap Border Morris
  at 2.00 p.m.\n\nOn Sunday\, 28th June at 9.30 a.m.\, we will hold a speci
 al Eucharistic service for St John’s birthday\, with music from St John
 ’s Singers\, followed by tea and cake. Later\, at 5.30 p.m.\, we welcome
  you to our Festival Choral Evensong\, sung by AD HOC Voices\, featuring u
 plifting music including Herbert Howells’ Collegium Regale and Cecilia M
 cDowall’s A Prayer for St John the Baptist.\n\nWith music\, bell ringing
 \, stalls\, refreshments\, and plenty of familiar faces\, it’s a lovely 
 weekend to support your church\, enjoy time together\, and help revive a t
 radition that belongs to all of us. We’d be delighted to see you there.
