DESCRIPTION:2026 is the centenary (100 years) of the creation of the Dioce
 se of Blackburn\, which was formed from part of the much larger diocese of
  Manchester in 1926. Every parish is encouraged to begin the year with a s
 pecial service. So this Sunday (4th January) we will be celebrating the ce
 ntenary alongside the feast of the Epiphany. We have produced a special se
 rvice from liturgy given by the diocese. Please come along and share in th
