Following the Government's decision to introduce a second period of 'lockdown' in all of England with effect from 5th November we are sorry that all churches are unable to offer any form of communal worship in church.
Consequently there will be no Sunday or Wednesday services at St Saviour's for the whole of November.
We have also taken the decision that, in the interests of everyone's safety, the church will remain closed and will not be available for private prayer.
We understand people may find this difficult, and so for Remembrance Sunday the Vicar has produced a special online Service of Remembrance which you can watch on YouTube. Please search for the 'Graham Halsall' channel on YouTube or go to https://youtube.com/channel/UCDHkUeBl-XiHhx-qE0xKMaA
This will be well worth watching if you can and a suitable tribute and remembrance in the absence of corporate worship.
Graham has also produced a 'home service' sheet of Daily Prayer for people to use in their own homes and this will be sent out by email, with copies delivered to those who cannot access emails.
If Government restrictions change we will post updates here, on social media and by word of mouth.
